Today, well, I started the launching of this website on May 23, 2020, and I am wrapping up the first day of the official launch on May 24, 2020.
It was a HUGE task to set up my own learning platform across Youtube, Facebook, and on my own website. And it is not even close to finishing yet.
I still don’t have a course on my website yet!!!
And I still need to finish the pages “About”, and “Meet Dr. Hong”.
I actually purchased this domain name back in January 2020. At first, I was planning it to be a “writer’s website”. But so many things had happened in the past four to five months. I ended up re-branding this site as my own online classroom. Hum, I can always make a section for my writer’s life in the future anyway.
The process of learning how to build a website was very very challenging.
To use an analogy,
I felt like I had to learn how to build a house, but I had never even used any construction tool. I had to learn the tools to build a website, then learn how to build it, and finally adding a finishing touch. I still haven’t finished with the finishing touch. There are so many stylistic problems with the website that still require my attention.
But I guess most of you won’t notice. So I will just be ironing these things out little by little.
